WRAPPED IN DENIM

(H&M dress, denim shirt from Far East, cutout shoes from Taobao)

Photos by Erman

Sorry for the lack of updates recently... I've really been swamped. These were taken sometime ago actually, when erman and I decided to rekindle our childish sides and watch Disney's Frozen. It's not too bad but not that great either. But I loved the talking snowman. Ain't a Disney film without talking inanimate objects. We then proceeded to have some amazing ramen at Ramen Champion. Comparable to the ones in Japan, I swear! Do try it, I think the awesome one was called the Hokkaido Special.

Wore my lace bralette inside this dress because it created a lace trim effect. Tied some denim around my waist because you don't always have to use plaid. Funny how my nail polish is named 'Denim Dash'. Appropriate much?

COFFEE DATES

(H&M silk shift dress, Perlini Silver jewelry, Isabel Marant dicker boots replica from Taobao)

All I want to get dressed in nowadays are dresses, the more shapeless the better. Stole from my mum's closet again but this dress doesn't work without a belt for me. Took me awhile to figure out how to pull this dress off. Who knew the solution was a simple belt. Looking for some western looking ones currently, let me know if you see any!

Shot these on the gorgeous rooftop at D'Good Cafe at Holland Village, it's where I went for the maybelline x garnier event. Incredibly cute decor and mood setting, perfect for casual coffee dates. (Coffee there is amazing, but you might want to skip the food)

EQUESTRIAN VIBES

(Mother gifted lace top, Dorothy Perkins leather skirt, Charles&Keith boots, furry bag from Taobao, Forever21 cuff bracelet)

Photos by Fiona Loh and Rebecca Yang

The long overdue post is finally here and for this, we travel back a month where the girls and I decided to have a nice brunch (or rather lunner/dinch at 3pm) at Riders Cafe - Bukit Timah Saddle Club. The place is rather obscure so it's recommended that you cab or drive. Food is great, view is amazing, one of my go to meal spots now. Find out more (how to get there etc...) here

And as you can tell, the scenic place caused a high level of camera clicking and picture selecting. I apologize for the photo vomit. But seriously though, Singapore surprises me every now and then, keeping this gorgeous place such a hidden treasure, waiting for people to discover. Definitely a squeal inducing place. (Yes, I'm talking about you Sha.)

Anyway, thank you to my lovely girls who didn't fail to surprise me, and bringing me so much joy with your crazy antics with reference to recording "music videos" in the middle of a field, dropping the pepper shaker literally 1cm away from its death, freaking out over horses approaching, almost getting bit by a horse, taking pretentious girl band album cover shots, drawing me a picture of my supposed present because it was out of stock and just being your goofy selves in general.

DOWN BY THE RIVER

(Zara lingerie slipdress, blazer from Bangkok, Perlini Silver bracelet and necklace, taobao boots)

Photos by Erman

Taken at river safari, where Erman took me for my birthday. So in love with the manatee exhibit that I refused to leave and just lingered there watching the manatees swim with their young in the huge Little Mermaid reminiscent aquarium. It was so magical I can't even begin to describe. Needless to say, I'm a huge sucker for marine mammals.
Went for a scuba diver colour palette (for good measure) with this Zara number that I love. Can't get enough of sleepwear as legit out-of-the-apartment wear. And also, the boots are one of my several purchases from Taobao and they are insanely comfortable with cutouts and silver buckles all at where I want them to be. And you know I can't turn down (faux) croc leather. Too good a texture to pass up.
