ROBERTO CAVALLI S/S 2014

Roberto Cavalli's Spring/Summer 2014 collection is a dreamy state of awesome vibes that I am absolutely obsessed with.
It's a mixture of bohemian, equestrian western (like in the old silent films) and 60's 'Great Gatsby' vibes that is so incredibly intricate and well put together. The combination of seductiveness and punk elements was also a big plus.
So many lust-worthy pieces including potential wedding dresses taking in mind of bohemian themed weddings. I count 6. Also in love with the oversized accessories, fur inserts, unexpected lace trimmings, the sequined everything and the thin straps seems to hold up all the materials including the shoes, bags and all the apparels.
What would be the cherry on top of a sundae for this collection would be including head pieces as well. I'm thinking something like this:

Amazing or not?! Then again, it may have been too overwhelming accessories wise so I guess it was best to have kept the collection that minimal above the neck to keep up with a half-done vibe.

ENDLESS SUMMER

(photos from oraclefox.com, frshmilk.com)

I really love Amanda Shadforth's blog (oraclefox), because of all the amazing beach editorials she puts up. Love all the ones that Bambi Northwood Blyth is in! Hope you'll enjoy them.

RUMI NEELY 2010

All images taken from Fashiontoast.com

Currently very inspired by Rumi circa 2010. Quasi hippie-bohemian chic, with a hint of whimsicality. Loving all things flowy, wispy, tasseled or fringed, motorcycle harness boots, furs in small and frequent doses, chunky silver jewelry, and a wide range of headpieces. Need to get some feathered one pronto, along with that Shaun the Sheep backpack.

Also, need to find a way to transfer all her little white dresses into my closet. I'm gonna try googling 'wardrobe teleportation methods'.
