MAYBELLINE & GARNIER PRODUCTS

Some products that I received during the event. Really in love with the consistency of the Maybelline Colour Show nail polishes. My nails are painted in 'Bold Gold' and that was only one coat of it. It glides on really smooth and thick. It also dries incredibly fast. It will be priced at only $6.90 and be sold in Singapore in January next year, with 40 shades to choose from. The eye pencils are also really good, with really dense pigmented colours. It is smudge proof (tested!) and long lasting. It will be available in 9 shades. At only $8.90, it really is a steal. Find out more here

I chose the Garnier Olia hair dye in Frosty Chestnut. It is like a reddish brown colour and I can't wait to try it! It is an flower oil based formula that does not damage your hair and in fact, improve hair quality because it does not contain Ammonia. My mind is officially blown. The texture of the dye is very smoothy and creamy and the best part is, it does not smell terrible. It is completely free of any Ammonia stink and in fact, it smells like a floral based shampoo. It is already available in Singapore, for slightly less than $20. Find out more about this product here

Hope I've shared some good products that will become part of your beauty regime!

MAYBELLINE X GARNIER COLOUR SHOW

Me being all excited and awed by the cool lift because only the floor moved and it resembled the lift from Dexter's Laboratory.
 Food table with pretty food

Tons of colours available in the Maybelline Colour Show nail polish collection. Loved the silver, gold, cotton candy pink and teal. The whole Colour Show collection will be launched for sale in January 2014, with nail polishes priced at SGD $6.90 and eye pencils at SGD $8.90. Really affordable and of superb quality; the colours for both items are extremely pigmented.

Erin Wasson on the wall.

Sunflowers at the Garnier Olia segment of the event. Garnier Olia is already in stores in Singapore. It is really affordable and with natural flower oils in the hair dye, it will not damage your hair but instead improve quality by 17%. That's really crazy impressive. I haven't tried it out, but will do so in due time.
With my table mates that night. Nicole, Fiona and Ii Wen. So glad to have met them that night!
Wearing The Editor's Market cropped top, Cotton On skirt, Far East flannel shirt and Charles and Keith boots.

Cute cushions at the swing corner. I love and totally need this whale one.
With my babe Fiona, who invited me to the event with her. Thank you dear, I had such a great time!!

That pretty much wraps up the Maybelline x Garnier colour show event! Thank you Touch PR for being a fantastic host. I enjoyed the event so much, never done so much DIY in my life. Another post with the products I've received is coming up soon.

COLOUR ME BAD

(The Editor's Market slip dress, vintage handmade jacket, Nike sneakers, random fold over sling, Lovisa circle necklace, Forever21 cuff)

Photos by Erman

Taken quite awhile back, when I still had hair below my collarbones. I think the St. Andrews Cathedral is one of the tourist hotspots in Singapore because I always see tourists flocking the area with photography equipment. Kinda makes me one too now I guess. Almost wanted to sneak in to take blog shots, but didn't really feel like getting kicked out that day so the gate will have to do for now.

Do you like my new sneakers? Finally some flat shoes for a change huh! Obsessed with how comfortable they are that I have already ordered some more flat boots on the way. Yay to being closer to the ground? But my love for heels will never die. You'll know what I mean when you see my new 5" leopard boots from Forever21. *cue sheepish laughter..*

Also, I cannot stop wearing outerwear currently. Just feel like they shape an outfit better and bring more character into clothes, like that makes any sense. Just in time for the "colder" season.
However, no such luck in Singapore to fully utilise outerwear. Gosh how I wish I were in Japan for winter, typhoons ain't gonna stop me.

SNIPPED

 (Forever 21 tank and cuff)

And off went 4 inches. Finally got my hair done after countless posts involved hair ranting sessions. Now I feel so much lighter and less.. tangled. The fringe went too. Was thisclose to going to bangs, but decided not to after the image of an 8 year old girl popped into my head. Feels so liberating to snip the weight off. Didn't turn back or even slightly glanced at what was left on the floor.
