Yes I know I am a bit tardy on this post so bear with me while I share with you about the event that happened weeks ago. I attended LUX's product relaunch at the House of LUX, and to welcome their new line of perfumes accompanying the existing shower products. Super elegant event, we were greeted with models clad in ball gowns, a harp player (also in a ball gown), servers in tuxedos carrying wine and champagne, and pleasant floral fragrances filled the air as expected. Now can you feel my shame when I showed up in a sweater and denim? To be fair, the invitation did encourage 'Fabulously Pink' as the dress code. I think my sweater was apt.

The event went on to feature French master perfumer, Calice Becker, to explain the LUX products to us. I had no idea that LUX's history tracked back to the likes of Marilyn Monroe and Audrey Hepburn as spokeswomen for the brand. I guess it explains the feminine elegance homogeneous throughout the event. Also, celebrity couple Andrea De Cruz and Pierre Png made an appearance for a raunchy talk about igniting the spark in relationships; obviously crediting great scents as a factor. *wink*

The press kit was the first I've ever received and it blew me away. Satin-lined and in a sturdy box, also bursting with perfume, it really elevated the relaunch of their products to a classier level. Among all of them, Soft Touch (pink one), remains my favourite scent!
